Phase 8 — Team & Access

Phase 8 covers everything needed to collaborate with a team and manage access securely. QuickMonitoring uses a two-level role-based access control (RBAC) system: roles at the organization level and roles at the project level, which operate independently.

Organization-level roles: OWNER, ADMIN, DEVELOPER, VIEWER

Project-level roles: PROJECT_ADMIN, PROJECT_DEVELOPER, PROJECT_VIEWER

Org Owners and Admins automatically bypass project-level restrictions and have full access across all projects in the organization.

This is a Diamond-tier phase: each feature is worth 40 XP.

What's in this phase

This phase contains 11 features, each worth 40 XP (Diamond tier):

1. Invite Team Member — Invite teammates by email with an assigned role.
2. RBAC — Viewer — Read-only access for client stakeholders.
3. RBAC — Developer — Run scans and manage test scenarios.
4. RBAC — Admin — Full org access except ownership transfer.
5. Projects — Group sites by client or team with independent permissions.
6. Project Member Roles — Assign project-scoped roles separate from org roles.
7. Org API Keys — Programmatic org-wide API access for CI/CD integration.
8. Site API Keys — Scoped API keys for a single site.
9. Onboarding Checklist — Guided setup checklist for new users.
10. Site Verification — Prove domain ownership via DNS TXT or meta tag.
11. Organization Switching — Switch between multiple organizations without logging out.

Prerequisites

• An organization already created in QuickMonitoring (done during sign-up).
• For invitation features: at least one additional team member or test email address to invite.

Complete all 11 features to earn 440 XP and the Phase 8 badge.
